Lessons from a Year of Daily Blogging
Today, I completed an entire year of posting every day. I’m not sure when I decided to do that, but after a while, the temptation became too great. It was a supersized Blogmas which, ironically I didn’t complete in December 2025! My catalyst has been the daily prompt which has seen me give opinions on subjects I would never have considered even looking at before. So what have I learnt?
- I have learnt that when I set a target I can still meet it.
- I have learnt that I can take even the most mundane prompt and work with it.
- I have learnt that some of my best writing is completely spontaneous.
- I have learnt that your audience builds significantly when you post regularly.
- I have learnt that daily prompt posts get far more views than anything else.
