About Me
Three years into my blogging journey and it’s time for me to take stock. I’ve written over 150 articles, some of which have attracted a significant number of views – well by my standards! Anything about New Tricks seems to be perennially searched for and, much to my surprise, my blog about Singing Together, a UK based radio programme for schools which had its heyday in the 1960s and 70s has garnered over 250 views and counting. Some of my entries have barely been seen by anyone even though I think they are just as good. I suppose that’s the luck of the draw, and the fact that I write such a range of entries.
Music – check. Books – check. Movies – check. TV Programmes – check. Childhood memories – check.
Occasionally I have thought that perhaps I should narrow it down to one or two areas, but that wouldn’t be me. Eclecticism seems to be my way forward and I am very grateful to those who find any of my posts interesting. I always enjoy writing these posts so I consider every view a bonus.
If you like my entries, please tell your followers on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Threads or Bluesky and I will be very grateful. Hope you enjoy reading my work and I look forward to connecting with you across the platforms.
