I Know Nothing!

I would start by questioning the whole basis of this prompt. None of us can know anything for certain because we can never be in possession of all the information that we need. I can be pretty sure of some things either scientifically or emotionally but the former is subject to change and the latter is dependent on our understanding of a situation and our reactions to it, which will differ from person to person.

As a teacher I am always learning from colleagues and students. To be certain about something means that you stop exploring and growing. You should always start from the basis that you cannot know anything for certain in order to get nearer to knowing. I know that many people will disagree with me, perhaps quite vehemently, but I will never make the assumption that I know something. I can strongly believe but never know for certain.
